Property Requirement

The WAW Leisure concept is to identify and develop rundown and under-invested hotel property assets, with the potential for 40 to 80 en-suite rooms, developing them into a modern affordable mid-market (3 Star) hotel chain.  Locations targeted must have the potential, all year round, to serve weekday business and weekend leisure customers.  Core to developing the proposition is providing:

• accommodation that is light, bright and contemporary
• efficient yet relaxed and informal service
• event and conference facilities for up to 120 people
• bar/restaurant space for up to 100 covers
• parking

Target Locations

WAW currently operate hotels in Sandwich, Camber and Chichester (www.theplacehotels.co.uk) and it is from this foundation that our expansion plans are based.  Whilst holiday coastal locations are unattractive, we would consider locations in coastal towns that have a solid commercial infrastructure.
